Mission Scholarship for Pilgrimage
A pilgrimage is one of the most powerful ways students step away from the rush of daily life to encounter God more deeply — through prayer, the sacraments and Christian community. Mission Scholarships for Pilgrimage remove the financial barrier so students with real need can still say “yes” to these formative experiences that strengthen faith and renew our Catholic mission.
Last year, a Mission Scholarship made possible through the Cor Challenge fully covered a graduating senior, Kate Sanchez, to join a pilgrimage in Rome after financial need kept her from participating in the Rome semester — a reminder that one vote can open a door for a student at exactly the right time.
This initiative will:

Make pilgrimages accessible to students with financial need, so cost never becomes the reason a student misses a life-shaping opportunity.

Deepen students’ faith and prayer life, creating space for reflection, renewal and growth in virtue.

Strengthen Catholic community on campus, as students return with renewed devotion and a stronger desire to lead and serve.
