At UDallas, faculty pour their hearts into teaching and mentorship — and they also need time and support to keep growing as scholars. Conference travel and research opportunities help professors deepen their expertise and bring fresh insight back to the classroom.
Last year, Faculty Development Challenge Funds supported research and conference travel for twenty UDallas professors, leading to shared scholarship through conference presentations, peer-reviewed articles and even full-length books. It’s a reminder that supporting our professors doesn’t just support ideas — it moves those ideas out into the world.
